Could bringing back an old friend help the Royals?

The Royals have been bringing in old friends the past few years, I believe they should consider bringing back Tim Collins for the 2021 season. Collins was a member of the Royals 2014 World Series team, and I believe the Royals should bring him back for the 2021 season. After his time with the Royals, Collins bounced around the league with the Nationals, Cubs, Reds, and Rockies. Throughout his career, he has posted good numbers. During his time in the big leagues with the Cubs back in 2019, he didn’t see much time on the mound in the majors. However, he did see a little during his time in the majors with the Cubs; he posted a good 3.12 ERA in only 8.2 innings. I think Collins would be a good lefty in the pen and a good veterans presents for a youthful bullpen. I believe the Royals could sign him to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training to compete for a bullpen spot with the young arms the Royals bullpen will consist of like Scott Barlow, Jake Newberry, and many others. I also believe if he doesn’t make the team out of camp, he could be good minor league depth for the Royals.
